The Wireless-N Gigabit Gaming Router is really four devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100/1000 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together at up to gigabit speeds. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

Linksys also included a Network Optimizer that applies various Quality of Service (QoS) techniques to your network traffic to make sure that time-sensitive applications like online and local network gaming run smoothly. It automatically determines what data is time-sensitive and what isn't, and prioritizes delivery of that data to its destination, ensuring the best-possible performance for the various types of data that go through your network.

The Access Point built into the Router uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead spots" in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections up to 4 times farther than standard Wireless-G.

With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. It works great with standard Wireless-G and -B equipment, but when both ends of the wireless link are Wireless-N, the router can increase the throughput even more by using twice as much radio band, yielding speeds up to 12 times as fast as standard Wireless-G.

To help protect your data and privacy, the Router can encode all wireless transmissions with industrial-strength 128-bit encryption. It can serve as your network's DHCP Server, has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks, and supports VPN pass-through. Configuration is a snap with the web browser-based configuration utility.

The incredible speed of Wireless-N and gigabit wired networking is ideal for media-centric applications like gaming, streaming video, and Voice over IP telephony, and gives you plenty of headroom to run multiple media-intense data streams through the network at the same time, with no degradation in performance. Defective Products and Missing Parts
Contact the warranty service provider listed above for defective products and missing parts. If, after contacting the warranty service provider, the product has not been repaired to your satisfaction, Unity Electronics will work with you to obtain an appropriate resolution. Return Policy
You have up to 15 days after the shipping date to initiate your return. Your items must reach us within 30 days from the shipping date. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted for return. We will ship all late items back to you. All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number issued by a Unity Electronics employee. You can obtain an RMA number by calling 510-475-0400 x203 or email our Customer Service Team.

To qualify for a refund, ALL items must be returned in their original condition, including the original packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. Do not mark or deface the original manufacturer containers in any manner. We will not accept returns if the packaging is not in its original condition.

Inbound Freight for RMA Returns
All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are non-refundable for all products, in all cases.

Restocking Fee
Unity Electronics reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all items that are returned. This policy is usually enforced on non-defective returned items. However, all accepted returns are subject to this charge.

Refused Shipments
Customers who refuse delivery in place of contacting Unity Electronics to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping, package refusal fee, and labor charges. This cost will be passed along to the customer in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the policies thereof.

When will my order ship?
Our processing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 3 p.m. PST will be shipped the same day*. All other orders will be shipped the next business day. Orders are not guaranteed for Saturday or Sunday delivery regardless of shipping method. We do not process or ship any orders on Saturday or Sunday.

*Orders may be delayed due to incorrect address information, different shipping and billing address information, or availability of the product.

Shipping Charge
Unity Electronics refuses to increase your shipping & handling charges. We only charge ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS as quoted by UPS.

APO/FPO Orders
Orders shipping to APO or FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Priority. Additional shipping fees may apply (a minimum of $10 depending on order size).
