The 2big Triple comes with FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 interfaces for PC or Mac users. This easy-to-use 2-disk RAID is ideal for storing office data, archiving image banks or audio/video editing. FireWire 800 delivers fast burst transfer rates of up to 90MB/s in RAID 0. Choose from among 4 RAID levels depending on your needs: SAFE 100 (RAID 1) for maximum security (100% data redundancy on each hot-swappable disk) with automatic data rebuilding if a spare disk (not included) is needed; FAST (RAID 0) for maximum speed; BIG (concatenation) for maximum capacity; or JBOD to use the disks separately. Other advanced features include: two lockable drives; a heat sink metal design for natural cooling; “On/Auto/Off” triple power management; and rackmount configuration. EMC® Retrospect® Express advanced backup management and data restoration software, which can be launched by the LaCie Shortcut Button, is included for Windows & Mac.

These burst transfer rates were found in RAID 0 for highest speed. Performance depends on the RAID mode selected. Burst transfer rates vary from one computer to another and may vary slightly from one drive to another. Average speed is usually lower, depending on host configuration.

Typographical and Listing Errors
At Unity Electronics, we strive to maintain as accurate and specific website as possible through our product listings and descriptions. However, we cannot guarantee that all content, pricing or specifications are always current and complete. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical information, technical or other error, Unity Electronics reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for that product.

Defective Products and Missing Parts
Contact the warranty service provider listed above for defective products and missing parts. If, after contacting the warranty service provider, the product has not been repaired to your satisfaction, Unity Electronics will work with you to obtain an appropriate resolution. Return Policy
You have up to 15 days after the shipping date to initiate your return. Your items must reach us within 30 days from the shipping date. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted for return. We will ship all late items back to you. All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number issued by a Unity Electronics employee. You can obtain an RMA number by calling 510-475-0400 x203 or email our Customer Service Team.

To qualify for a refund, ALL items must be returned in their original condition, including the original packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. Do not mark or deface the original manufacturer containers in any manner. We will not accept returns if the packaging is not in its original condition.

Inbound Freight for RMA Returns
All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are non-refundable for all products, in all cases.

Restocking Fee
Unity Electronics reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all items that are returned. This policy is usually enforced on non-defective returned items. However, all accepted returns are subject to this charge.

Refused Shipments
Customers who refuse delivery in place of contacting Unity Electronics to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping, package refusal fee, and labor charges. This cost will be passed along to the customer in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the policies thereof.

When will my order ship?
Our processing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 3 p.m. PST will be shipped the same day*. All other orders will be shipped the next business day. Orders are not guaranteed for Saturday or Sunday delivery regardless of shipping method. We do not process or ship any orders on Saturday or Sunday.

*Orders may be delayed due to incorrect address information, different shipping and billing address information, or availability of the product.

Shipping Charge
Unity Electronics refuses to increase your shipping & handling charges. We only charge ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS as quoted by UPS.

APO/FPO Orders
Orders shipping to APO or FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Priority. Additional shipping fees may apply (a minimum of $10 depending on order size).

P.O. Boxes
We ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS.

Customs, Duties, Import Fees, and Taxes
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.
