The Linksys Compact Wireless-G Internet Video Camera sends live video through the Internet to a web browser anywhere in the world! This compact, self-contained unit lets you keep track of your home, your kids, your workplace -- whatever's important to you.

Unlike standard "web cams" that require an attached PC, the Internet Video Camera contains its own web server, so it can connect directly to a network, either over Wireless-G (802.11g) networking, or over 10/100 Ethernet cable. The advanced MPEG-4 video compression produces a high-quality, high-framerate, up to 320x240 video stream.

The Compact Internet Video Camera's unique form-factor and wireless connectivity allows you to mount it on a wall nearly anywhere, or slip it into its included stand for desktop use. Once it's connected to your home network, you can "see what it sees" from any Windows-based PC in the house, while the video stream is secured from the outside world, hidden behind your Router. If you want the video to be visible from outside your home network, you can open an appropriate port on the Router, and then create password protected accounts to manage access to the camera, or leave it wide open for the world to see.

You can also turn on Security Mode, which tells the camera to send a message with a short video attached to up to three email addresses whenever it detects motion in its field of view. You can then log onto the live video stream if the situation warrants. The included Viewer & Recorder utility lets you record the audio/video stream to your local hard drive, "live" or on a predetermined schedule.

Wireless IEEE802.11b/g Compatible and RJ45 Connection
The Linksys WVC54GC connects using the 802.11b/g protocol to your wireless network and comes equipped with one RJ45 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet port for wired network connections. This makes it possible to control and monitor of the camera from any remote PC in the network.

Integrated Web Server
The integrated web server function means no PC needs to be attached to the camera for it to work. Users can access the camera from anywhere in the world via the Internet. The LINKSYS WVC54GC supports up to four simultaneous remote users.

Enhanced MPEG4 Compression
The advanced MPEG-4 compression produces high-quality, high-framerate video streamed at a resolution of 320x240.

Security Mode
You can turn on Security Mode, which tells the camera to send a message with a short video clip attached to up to three email addresses whenever it detects motion in its field of view. You can then log onto the live video stream if the situation warrants it. The included Viewer & Recorder utility lets you record the audio/video stream to your local hard drive, "live" or on a predetermined schedule.

Network Security

Typographical and Listing Errors

Defective Products and Missing Parts
Contact the warranty service provider listed above for defective products and missing parts. If, after contacting the warranty service provider, the product has not been repaired to your satisfaction, Unity Electronics will work with you to obtain an appropriate resolution. Return Policy
You have up to 15 days after the shipping date to initiate your return. Your items must reach us within 30 days from the shipping date. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted for return. We will ship all late items back to you. All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number issued by a Unity Electronics employee. You can obtain an RMA number by calling 510-475-0400 x203 or email our Customer Service Team.

To qualify for a refund, ALL items must be returned in their original condition, including the original packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. Do not mark or deface the original manufacturer containers in any manner. We will not accept returns if the packaging is not in its original condition.

Inbound Freight for RMA Returns
All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are non-refundable for all products, in all cases.

Restocking Fee
Unity Electronics reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all items that are returned. This policy is usually enforced on non-defective returned items. However, all accepted returns are subject to this charge.

Refused Shipments
Customers who refuse delivery in place of contacting Unity Electronics to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping, package refusal fee, and labor charges. This cost will be passed along to the customer in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the policies thereof.

When will my order ship?
Our processing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 3 p.m. PST will be shipped the same day*. All other orders will be shipped the next business day. Orders are not guaranteed for Saturday or Sunday delivery regardless of shipping method. We do not process or ship any orders on Saturday or Sunday.

*Orders may be delayed due to incorrect address information, different shipping and billing address information, or availability of the product.

Shipping Charge
Unity Electronics refuses to increase your shipping & handling charges. We only charge ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS as quoted by UPS.

APO/FPO Orders
Orders shipping to APO or FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Priority. Additional shipping fees may apply (a minimum of $10 depending on order size).

P.O. Boxes
We ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS.

Customs, Duties, Import Fees, and Taxes
