The IntraCore 6524 is a high performance solution for enterprise edge applications. The front panel of each switch includes twenty-four 10/100 RJ-45 Ethernet ports and two SC-connector Gigabit fiber ports. The system can operate as a stand-alone network or be used in combination with other IntraCore series switches in the backbone.

The system supports current requirements for multi-service voice, video, and data applications with bandwidth to spare.

Multiple Priority Queues
The "application aware" system ensures that mission critical applications get the bandwidth and the priority they need, even under heavy traffic conditions. When network congestion occurs, low latency requirements are managed by the system.

GBIC Modules for Gigabit Ethernet Media Flexibility
The two GBIC Gigabit Ethernet modules can be configured with any combination of 1000SX, 1000LX or 1000LX (Long Haul) GBIC interfaces. Either Asante or third party GBIC interfaces can be used, and the interfaces can be hot-swapped. This means that GBIC interfaces can be re-deployed based on the user's applications.

Installation Option
The system can be rack-mounted to save space.

Security
Node summary tracks MAC and IP addresses per device, for multiple devices on each port. The Port Security feature provides per-port security, allowing the network manager to specify which MAC is authorized on each port. Only the device with that MAC address is allowed to connect to that specific port.

Web-Based Management
Provided for chassis management, module management, port-level control, and monitoring. The IntraCore 6524 can also be managed via Telnet, Console, or third party SNMP console.

VLANs
Supports up to 64 port-based VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q compliant) for security, logical network design, and the control of broadcast traffic. The 802.1Q standard specifies VLAN tagging for trunking VLANs from switch to switch, or switch to router. Compatible with all 802.1Q equipment for easy integration into existing networks.

Multicast Control
Supports standards based 1GMP snooping for control of multicast traffic generated by bandwidth-hungry applications such as vide, ensuring maximum application and network performance.

RMON
The administrator can use an RMON probe for in-depth traffic analysis, with support for four groups of RMON.

Spanning Tree Protocol
Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) detects and eliminates data loops to prevent broadcast storms from overwhelming your network.

Typographical and Listing Errors

In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical information, technical or other error, Unity Electronics reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for that product.

Defective Products and Missing Parts
Contact the warranty service provider listed above for defective products and missing parts. If, after contacting the warranty service provider, the product has not been repaired to your satisfaction, Unity Electronics will work with you to obtain an appropriate resolution. Return Policy
You have up to 15 days after the shipping date to initiate your return. Your items must reach us within 30 days from the shipping date. Items received after 30 days will not be accepted for return. We will ship all late items back to you. All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number issued by a Unity Electronics employee. You can obtain an RMA number by calling 510-475-0400 x203 or email our Customer Service Team.

To qualify for a refund, ALL items must be returned in their original condition, including the original packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals and all accessories. Do not mark or deface the original manufacturer containers in any manner. We will not accept returns if the packaging is not in its original condition.

Inbound Freight for RMA Returns
All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. All related fees (shipping & return shipping fees) are non-refundable for all products, in all cases.

Restocking Fee
Unity Electronics reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all items that are returned. This policy is usually enforced on non-defective returned items. However, all accepted returns are subject to this charge.

Refused Shipments
Customers who refuse delivery in place of contacting Unity Electronics to obtain proper return instructions may be assessed a fee to cover return shipping, package refusal fee, and labor charges. This cost will be passed along to the customer in the form of a deduction from the total credit due to the customer. In addition, refused shipments may be considered an unauthorized return and subject to the policies thereof.

When will my order ship?
Our processing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 3 p.m. PST will be shipped the same day*. All other orders will be shipped the next business day. Orders are not guaranteed for Saturday or Sunday delivery regardless of shipping method. We do not process or ship any orders on Saturday or Sunday.

*Orders may be delayed due to incorrect address information, different shipping and billing address information, or availability of the product.

Shipping Charge
Unity Electronics refuses to increase your shipping & handling charges. We only charge ACTUAL SHIPPING COSTS as quoted by UPS.

APO/FPO Orders
Orders shipping to APO or FPO addresses are shipped via USPS Priority. Additional shipping fees may apply (a minimum of $10 depending on order size).

P.O. Boxes
We ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS.

Customs, Duties, Import Fees, and Taxes
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.
